Real Estate Students Win First Place In Capital Challenge Case Competition

Capital Challenge. Teams from numerous universities in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area competed in the case competition to tackle “actual life” real estate growth or redevelopment tasks. As the winners, the Johns Hopkins staff shared a $10,000 scholarship prize. “I am very proud of our college students. They did a superb job in evaluating the case and making a strong presentation,” mentioned Daniel B. Kohlhepp, PhD, academic program director of the Edward St. John Real Estate Program at the Carey Business School. “The NAIOP problem is a superb opportunity for our students to work together with high professionals. It supplies a real-world expertise that makes our real property college students assume critically, plan strategically, and perform underneath stress.
